Executive Planners are responsible for implementing programmes of work in the Planning Department and for providing a multiplicity of planning services and related services. Executive Planner positions are multi-faceted and may include some or all of the following key service areas:

• Development management.
• Planning enforcement.
• Forward planning policy, development and active land management
• Delivery and Implementation

The office is wholetime, permanent and pensionable. A panel will be formed to fill permanent and temporary vacancies. Persons employed will generally be based in civic offices in Tallaght but may be required to work in any location within the South Dublin administrative area.
